Tiny Mustard Seed is a practical garden intelligence platform built around tools and connected workflows people can use repeatedly through the growing season.
The goal is to make everyday garden decisions easier: what to sow now, when to start seeds, how much material to buy, how to space crops, how long irrigation should run and what the garden actually produced.
Instead of publishing large volumes of near-duplicate gardening articles, Tiny Mustard Seed focuses on interactive utilities, transparent calculations and a personal My Garden workspace that becomes more useful as records accumulate.
Single-purpose tools handle decisions such as frost risk, seed quantity, soil volume, spacing, compost, watering and harvest timing. Connected projects join several decisions together when one calculator is not enough.
The Growing Season Planner links frost dates to sowing, transplanting, succession and expected harvest targets. The Raised Bed Build Pack carries dimensions through timber, soil and crop layout. The Irrigation Planner connects zone geometry, measured emitter flow, source-flow capacity, rain allowance, runtime and stored water.
My Garden stores the garden profile, tracked crops, projects, harvest records, journal entries and saved plans in the browser in the current release. The return dashboard and task engine use those records to make the site more useful without requiring an account.
Users can export garden backups and selected project data. Local-first storage also means users remain responsible for backing up records they want to keep before clearing browser data or changing devices.
New features should solve repeat garden jobs, connect to existing records or improve the accuracy of an existing workflow. We favour better methods, clearer limitations and useful personal records over simply increasing page count.
Weather and climate features add context, but the garden itself remains the final check: soil, exposure, variety, pests, maintenance and microclimate can all change the right decision.
